JOB PROFILE: COOK ( With Experience)



Work Location: Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (ZAMBOECOZONE) – Dinosaur Park

Employment Type: Full-time

Deployment Through: VIMECA Manpower Services




1. Job Summary



The Cook will prepare and serve meals for staff and visitors in accordance with safety and sanitation standards. The role requires hands-on cooking experience, proper food handling, and the ability to support daily operations inside Dinosaur Park.




2. Key Responsibilities




Food Preparation & Cooking



  1. Prepare and cook meals based on menu plans or instructions.
  2. Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
  3. Follow proper portioning and avoid unnecessary waste.
  4. Assist in planning simple menus for daily operations or small events.




Kitchen Operations



  1. Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary at all times.
  2. Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, and workstations.
  3. Receive, check, and store food supplies properly.




Safety & Compliance



  1. Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
  2. Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  3. Comply with ZAMBOECOZONE safety rules and internal company policies.




Customer & Staff Support



  1. Serve meals to staff or visitors when needed.
  2. Assist during special park activities or events.
  3. Coordinate with the park supervisor for supply needs and scheduling.





3. Qualifications Required




Minimum Qualifications



  1. At least High School Graduate (K-12 accepted).
  2. With relevant cooking experience in a canteen, restaurant, catering service, or food stall.
  3. Familiar with basic Filipino and canteen-style dishes.
  4. Able to follow recipes, instructions, and portioning guidelines.




Preferred Qualifications



  1. Experience in food service inside a cafeteria, resort, or park.
  2. Knowledgeable in kitchen sanitation and food safety standards.
  3. Basic understanding of inventory rotation (FIFO).
  4. Experience handling kitchen tools and equipment.

  1. Good cooking skills with attention to detail

  3. Clean and hygienic work habits
  4. Can work fast during peak hours
  5. Good communication and teamwork skills
  6. Able to work with minimal supervision





5. Physical Requirements



  1. Fit to work
  2. Comfortable working for long hours in a kitchen environment
  3. Able to lift and carry food supplies when needed
  4. Good hand-eye coordination





6. Working Conditions



  1. Shifting schedule depending on park operations
  2. May require work on weekends and holidays
  3. Fast-paced kitchen environment
  4. Work mainly within the Dinosaur Park food service area





7. Required Documents Upon Hiring



  1. NBI/Police Clearance
  2. Medical Certificate / Fit-to-Work (with drug test)
  3. Barangay Clearance
  4. SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG Numbers
  5. Food Handler/Health Certificate (if required)
  6. Birth Certificate / Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
