JOB PROFILE: WAITER

Work Location: Zamboanga City Special Economic Zone (ZAMBOECOZONE) – Dinosaur Park

1. Job Summary

The Waiter will assist in serving food and beverages to staff and visitors inside Dinosaur Park. The role includes taking orders, ensuring tables are clean and presentable, supporting kitchen operations, and providing friendly service to enhance the experience of park guests.

2. Key Responsibilities

Service & Customer Care

1. Attend to customers promptly and politely.
2. Take and relay food orders accurately.
3. Serve food and beverages in an organized and timely manner.
4. Assist with guest concerns and coordinate with the kitchen for special requests.

Dining Area Maintenance

1. Set up dining areas before service hours (tables, chairs, condiments).
2. Clean tables and clear plates, utensils, and trash.
3. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of dining spaces.

Support to Kitchen Staff

1. Assist in preparing basic items such as drinks or simple plating when needed.
2. Bring dishes from kitchen to serving area safely.
3. Help in restocking utensils, condiments, cups, plates, and supplies.

Cash Handling (If Assigned)

1. Handle payments, issue receipts, and maintain accuracy in transactions.
2. Protect cash and follow basic accounting protocols.

Compliance & Safety

1. Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
2. Ensure proper handwashing and sanitation at all times.
3. Comply with all park rules and company policies.

3. Qualifications Required

Minimum Qualifications

1. At least High School Graduate (K-12 accepted).
2. With or without experience (training will be provided).
3. Good communication skills.
4. Neat appearance and good hygiene.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience as a waiter, food server, or service crew.
2. Knowledge in basic customer service and food handling.
3. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
4. Basic cash handling skills.
